Robots can take over repetitive and monotonous tasks in the care of sick and elderly people and thus relieve the nursing staff. A Zurich-based company has developed the mobile assistant Lio. In an interview, CEO and company co-founder Michael Früh describes what Lio can already do, what it will be able to do in the future and why it cannot replace humans.

F&P Robotics et Ostertag DeTeWe ont signé un accord de partenariat

Le développeur suisse de robots high-tech F&P Robotics et le leader allemand des systèmes ITK Ostertag DeTeWe ont signé aujourd’hui un accord de partenariat : le robot d’assistance Lio sera commercialisé et distribué par Ostertag DeTeWe en Allemagne avec effet immédiat. L' »esprit » de l’accord de coopération implique également un partenariat technologique de grande envergure. L’équipe de développement interne d’Ostertag DeTeWe veille à ce que la gamme de tâches de Lio soit constamment développée et que de nouveaux domaines d’application puissent être ajoutés.
