The main goal of the elderly care home is to provide enough time and care to ensure the well-being of those in need. The elderly care home Emmersberg believes that it is possible by relieving some of the less attractive work or peak workload while using modern technologies and robotics. The Lio assistant robot is used for the first time by a paraplegic at home. The test is supported by ParaHelp, a subsidiary of the Paraplegic Foundation – so that Lio can become real help for people with spinal cord injury.
