The paper „Co-Robots as Care Robots“ by Oliver Bendel, Alina Gasser and Joel Siebenmann was accepted at the AAAI 2020 Spring Symposia.
Robots are no longer relevant only in production and logistics. They take a very important role in the service area. Especially where proximity between the robots and the user is desired or cannot be avoided. In the care sector, individual robotic solutions of very different types have been developed for decades.
In the article “Co-Robots as Care Robots” Oliver Bendel, Alina Gasser and Joel Siebenmann analyse not only advantages, but also the disadvantages of co-bots in healthcare robotics. The paper was successfully published at the AAAI 2020 Spring Symposium “Applied AI in Healthcare: Safety, Community, and the Environment” (Stanford University).
