The future prospects for engagements in care for our Lio are positive. According to a survey conducted by the opinion research company Demoscope see more than half of the Swiss respondents the use of care robots as an opportunity.
The edition published in June/July 2019 of Spitex Magazine describes Lio on page 39 as soft as well as friendly and emphasises his communication skills. His remarkable ability to recognize people via voice and to store information about the person is particularly emphasized, so that he can adjust his behavior and communication to the new state of knowledge in future. Furthermore, the magazine mentions that Lio is currently being tested in various Swiss care institutions to support clients and nursing staff.
