F&P was exhibiting at the Swiss Robotics Industry Day at the SwissTech Convention Centre (NCCR) in Lausanne . This annual conference is designed to showcase the activities of NCCR Robotics and selected Swiss start-ups active in the field of robotics through a series of technology demonstrations.
Our showcase demonstrated P-Rob’s ability for decision making and object detection. P-Rob detected the position of objects and grasped them. Using neuronal networks, P-Rob made the decision about whether to put the objects in a box or to give them to the visitors. It always chose the action with the smallest error between its current position and the recorded samples during the learning training.
