From October 10-12th we were part of the international festival platform XPOMET Medicinale in Berlin to showcase best practice and highlight trends in global healthcare and forecast future developments. Creative disruption and knowledge transfer are the backbone of Medicinale.
The Business Innovation Week took place the 1st until 3rd of October 2019. The assistive care robot Lio and massage robot Massimo were part of the Swiss event for innovation, digitalisation and state-of-the-art technoliges featuring a Future Conference.
The Newspaper “Tagesanzeiger” is one of the most famous ones in Switzerland. They published an article about Lio in action in Rehaklinik Zihlschlacht.
The website of our subsidiary “F&P Robotics China Co., Ltd.” based in Shanghai is officially released! We are delighted to present you our brand new F&P Robotics China website.
On 9th and 10th of May 2019 Symposium for hospitality and facility services organized by Inselspital Bern took place. One focus topic was the technological development and digitalization that could assist in meeting the needs in the hospitality sector. Since F&P Robotics is a pioneer in the use of robots in hospitality and care, we were asked to give a speech and present Lio at the symposium.
On 18 May 2019, one of the 6 Swiss WRO regional competitions took place in the gymnasium school Untermoos in Zurich-Altstetten. The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is an international robot competition to inspire children and young people for science and technology. Last year F&P supported the team 0010 0100 at the WRO.
F&P celebrated the internal launch of the barrobot “Barney”! Shareholders, customers partners and other guests were invited to come to our headquarter in Glattbrugg and to celebrate with us. Barney is the first Robot Bartender who can directly interact with guests.

Last week, Lio was presented to a wide range of audience from the healthcare sector in Constance . As part of a research project, Andreas Hoffmann, chairman of the Caritas Kreisverband Constance, plans to use our Lio as the first nursing robot in a nursing home in Constance.
