On 28 and 29 May, the so called “Ladenburger Diskurs” of the Daimler and Benz Foundation will once again take place. The discourse is dedicated to the dynamics of the interactions between man, environment and technology and creates a platform in which experts from various fields reflect on the topic at a scientific level.
Scientists and experts from the field will meet and discuss the state of research on selected questions and clarify whether a question is suitable as a research topic for the Foundation’s funding program.
This year, the focus of the discourse will be on human-robot collaboration (MRK). With our products, we are an important player in this field. For this reason, we were asked by the Daimler and Benz Foundation to participate in the discourse, to give a lecture on the topic and, together with other experts, to reflect on the current state of science and the ethical questions that this entails in connection with MRK.
Mr. Lukas Wirth is CTO of F&P and robotics expert. He will give a presentation at the Ladenburger Diskurs and present experiences from pilot projects with the service robot Lio. The interaction with different user groups such as residents, nursing staff and relatives will be presented. Topics such as user-friendliness, decision behaviour of the robot and safety in an unpredictable environment will be the focus.
