The symposium Collaborative Robotics took place last week in Giessen. This year’s focus was on Safety and Artifical Intelligence. Michael Früh, CFO and Deputy Managing Director of F&P held a speech on the topic of Personal Robotics and its special challenges to Artificial Intelligence.
Topics such as safety certification, sensor technology and the general use of collaborative robots in industrial and service environments, such as hospitals or retirement and nursing homes, were discussed. Mr. Früh has dealt extensively with the topic of the use of robots in care and nursing. Among other things, he is co-author of “Robotics in Nursing and Health Care”, a comprehensive study dedicated to this topic published by vdf Hochschulverlag AG of ETH Zurich. HKI Giessen published a blog post about our Collaborative Robots.
