The integration seminar “Law and Economics of Innovation” will take place on Friday, 27 April 2018 at the MLE-Haus at the University of St. Gallen. Dr. Hans-Rudolf Früh, founder and managing director of F&P Robotics, will give a presentation at the event and participate in the accompanying discussion.
The topic of “robot law” is currently hotly debated, not least because of the resolution of the EU Parliament regarding the creation of a robot directive by the EU Commission. This resolution and the proposed liability solutions on robotics (in concrete terms: no-fault liability and risk management approach) will be discussed on the theme day from different perspectives – represented by various experts. Represented as stakeholders are: Robot manufacturers, politicians, insurers and robotics technicians.
